“New Line Cinema has hired screenwriter Ryan Engle to write the the upcoming feature film adaptation of the classic 1980’s video game Rampage. The studio is hoping to take this franchise and turn it into a epic film on a small budget.
For those of you who haven’t played the video game it revolves around three human characters who mutate into giant monsters that includes a giant Godzilla lizard, a werewolf and a King Kong gorilla. The three go on a rampage destroying big cities while fight off the military, and of course eating people. I loved playing this game growing up, I played it all the time, but I never beat it.
